Who we are

Craft Kids · Tareas Creativas is a creative activities project for children run by Dayana Rebeca Uzcátegui Maldonado (Ms. Rebeca) in Katy, Texas. She is responsible for the data you share with us.

What data we collect

When you sign up your child: your name, email and phone number; each child’s name and age; whether they have allergies or take medication; any additional information you choose to share; and an emergency contact (name and phone).

When you leave a review: your name, your email (never published), the activity and your comment.

Children’s information is always provided by their parent or guardian. Our website is meant for adults, and we do not collect information directly from children.

How we use it

Only to run our activities: confirm your spot, arrange payment, contact you by WhatsApp, text message or email, and look after your child’s health and safety during the activity (that is why we ask about allergies, medication and an emergency contact).

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes, and we will not send you advertising you did not ask for.

Photos and videos

During our classes and events we take photos and videos of the group and the crafts. We use them to share what we do on our website and social media (Instagram and Facebook) and to remember each activity.

We never publish a child’s full name or any information that could identify where they are next to a photo.

If you are not comfortable with a photo or video your child appears in, let us know and we will remove it from our website and social media.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Data is stored on a private server rented by Craft Kids (provider: Hetzner), over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only Ms. Rebeca and the website administrator can see it.

We use WhatsApp, text messages (SMS) and email to communicate with you; they have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep registration data for two years after the last event your child attended. After that, we delete it.

Published reviews stay up until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about your family, correct it or delete it. Email us at tareascreativasve@gmail.com and we will reply as soon as possible.

Payments

Payments are made by Zelle. After you sign up, Ms. Rebeca will message you to confirm your spot and send you the payment details. Our website never asks for or stores bank or card details.

Your spot is confirmed once Ms. Rebeca tells you so.

Cancellations

If you cancel 15 or more days before the activity date, we refund your payment.

If you cancel less than 15 days before, we give you the kit for the planned activity and the rest of the amount is kept as credit for a future event.

Cookies and external services

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Google Fonts to display our typefaces, so your browser connects to Google’s servers when you open the page.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything important, we will update this page and the date above.
